Motamec

History
Motamec was founded by the Motorsport Tools UK team, after being a retailer of motorsport parts and professional tools for many years. The team thought that sometimes there were problems with the supply chain of the products they sold and the premium prices some charged. Motamec was setup to provide the team with more control over the products they sold. So producing high quality well designed products in high numbers and selling at low prices was the founding values of the brand. The team thought they could improve on what was already available on the market, in terms of both design and price.

Values
Motamec strives to support British manufacturing wherever possible. Utilising the fantastic small time severed engineering shops out there that are capable of producing such fine quality products. The UK has long history of engineering and especially in motorsport engineering sector.

Innovation
The team at Motamec have invested a lot of time studying and using products. Never happy to just repeat what others are doing. Always looking to improve things in as many ways as possible. Designed by the end users for the end users using real world experience is our design philosophy.

Quality
Motamec products are produced wherever possible to meet or exceed industry standards where they apply. For example Motamec fittings are made to JIC tolerances in an ISO9001 factory and the Motamec range of seats (FIA8855-1999) and harnesses (FIA8854/98 & FIA8853/98) are made to meet the latest FIA standards to be homologated by the FIA

Value for Money
Part of Motamec’s original ethos has always been to provide there customers with great value for money. By being well organised, buying in bulk and selling direct to the end users big cost savings are made while maintaining the highest standards.
